It was in the year 2010, when I encountered this verse in the bible as it was preached by my Pastor in the ministry I am involved with, from then on, the Word has been alive to me and in my heart. I should say this is one of the biggest revelations I have gotten from the Lord that no matter what happens, we just need to hold on to His promises and He is indeed committed to deliver and is faithful to bring us to what He said in His teachings 2,000 years ago.
“This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not to abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for”. [Jeremiah 29:11 The Message Bible]
Truly, if from the beginning He has called us from our mother’s womb, He knows our name, I know that God will never fail us. The moment that Jesus left the earth to sit at the right hand of Abba Father, He has left us the Holy Spirit to be with us, to dwell in us – that makes God say that He will never leave us nor abandon us. Thank God that we have an awesome God who will never leave us. We may go through things – hardships and difficulties but it is just a storm that we may have to go through with God backing us up. God’s plans are always perfect and it’s timing is always on the dot. He knows what’s best for us and I know that He will never put us to a place where no help is available. There’s always is! Just trust in Him, call His name! Ask the Holy Spirit for a guidance.
I thank God for He has continually showering me with tremendous blessings, every day is a surprise and I thank Him for the protection He always gives.
Folks, you may go through difficult times today, you might be asking and questioning God why is this happening to you? But God wanna tell you this, He has never left your side. He is committed to bring you to the other side. He longs for you, He just wants you to call upon Him and pray without ceasing, for whenever you pray, you are bringing God’s glory and in His glory there you can find miracles and answers to all that you have been asking God for. It’s not late to call to Him, He is just there waiting for you to come and ask Him.
