God’s Hand of Protection

” Though a thousand fall at your side, though, ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.” [Psalm 91: 7 NLT]

With the recent Super Typhoon that visited our country, The Philippines, many were devastated, lost homes and even lives. Despite the tragic manifestation of this typhoon, the country is still standing, I personally saw how countries of different nations unite, helped each other and helped us, Filipinos, to stand again.

I would like to share this testimony from a Pastor in Tacloban, Leyte. Truly, God’s promise of protection is upon him and the entire household.

Thank you Jesus that You are true to Your Word. We may not understanding Your ways but we know that in You alone we can trust and rely on. Help us to live in Your ways and let Your ways be revealed in us, let Your wisdom be upon us all.

Let God Bless These Countries

I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:3 NLT)

Recently, my country, The Philippines was recently hit by a super typhoon named Haiyan (International name)  but called it Yolanda as it entered the Philippine area of responsibility.

As of this time, the death toll reached closely to 10,000 and am praying that those missing people will still be found. I pray as the days go by, there are still living survivors and no death toll to count.

I know it is not God’s will for my country to suffer this tragic event but let the Wisdom of God be upon everyone else and know the purpose of it. God is a giver of good and perfect gift and He sometimes allow destruction to go and come by BUT He will not leave us alone. With this recent devastation I know God has never left us alone, I know there is a lesson behind this and with this I know a better, a stronger and a prosperous Philippine nation will stand, never the same as before. We have lost a thousand but I know in my Spirit that we will gain whatever we have lost.

I pray for God’s protection to cover all the families’ victims, I pray that they may know God more than before and that they may get revelation from this event.

Through this page, I would also like to take the opportunity to thank these beloved country who donated money to help my country again, to rebuild, to recover the losses and to stand again.

Our country, The Philippines, may not be able to repay you in terms of the amounts you have donated but as a believer who believes in Him I pray for double portion of what you have blessed my fellow country.

Let God pay you double and even seven times of the amount you put as a seed to The Philippines. Let your seeds branch out and harvest bountifully because God is a God of multiplication.

An endless thanks to all of you. God bless you beyond what your mind can imagine, I pray for open floodgates of Heaven to pour out over your country and your people in Jesus’ name. Amen!

A Promise Of Restoration

“On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes, I, the Lord, have spoken!” [Zephaniah 3:20 NLT]

God is always in the business of restoration and not destruction. Many times, God has said in the bible that He is committed to restore every thing that the enemy has destroyed and truly He will never fail to restore ALL that was lost. He is true to His Word and His Word will never return void of His promises.

When God restores, He makes sure that you will never be back in the same area where you have lost everything but He will exceed all that you have lost. He will make it double and the enemy will repay you 7 times of what you have lost. That’s the business that God is into!

Many times, we always lean on going somewhere and leaning on our own understanding, we need to change or renew our minds that we have to learn how to trust God, trusting that He will deliver us from the unfortunate events happening in our lives.

We need to remember always that God is true to His Word and His Word never fails, His restoration will always be upon us all, who believes in Him and who trusts in Him.

Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus that You alone can restore all things we have lost and in You alone we find our refuge and our strength to surpass all the trials we are facing.

Believe The Impossible!

Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 7 Nothing, not even a mighty mountain, will stand in Zerubbabel’s way; it will become a level plain before him! And when Zerubbabel sets the final stone of the Temple in place, the people will shout: ‘May God bless it! May God bless it! [Zechariah 4:6-7 NLT]

How many of you know that through these two verses, we are given by God the power to do the impossible? It just takes a leap of faith to believe in everything that we do and let it happen, make it happen through your faith in Christ Jesus. Truly, nothing is difficult with God and all the more nothing is impossible to Him and to those who believes in Him.

God has said many times in the bible that we MUST believe and have faith in everything. Let me ask you this question, how far are you believing for things to come in your way?

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. [Mark 11:23 NLT]

Doubting is similar to fear; as we know fear is one of devil’s schemes to make us believe that we cannot do it. As a believer, we need to know that we should not operate always in fear but we must rely on God’s promises that through Him we can achieve things, we are victorious and we are an overcomer.

God wants you to get the things you hoped for, God wants to bring you to a place of abundance, God wants you to change the way you think, God wants you to believe that HE has already paid the price 2,000 years ago so we may not live in defeat.

oh, thank you Jesus that we have come a long way today, just by believing in Your Word. Let Your glory fall in us and let Your shalom be upon us – nothing missing, nothing broken in Jesus’ name.

The Full Armor Of God

Full armor of God

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.

16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). [Ephesians 6: 10-18 Amplified]

God’s Full Promise Of Protection

Psalm 91 (Amplified Bible)

He who [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,

Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.

Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

12 They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.

14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

I truly believe, there isn’t much more explanation to this. The entire Psalm 91 has already explained the kind of protection that God wants us to have and His full promise of protection to those who believe in Him.

I declare that these verses will bring knowledge and wisdom upon you. Selah.

Let Me Know Your Praise Report

It has been over 3 months when God directed me to start this online ministry where I will deliver verses from Scriptures. Surely, through your comments, some are blessed and some are delighted to hear Word straight from the bible. Let me know any praise reports you may have? Send it over to my email at mark.herman27@yahoo.com.

If you want prayers and would want me to agree in your petitions, please feel free to send me a message and let me pray for you. I want to hear that your prayers are answered and soon sending me a praise report.

“Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” [Matthew 18:20 The Message]
